The Road to Self-Sufficiency
The process of returning to work while receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) can be a confusing and challenging process. As a Credential Work Incentives Practitioner (CWIP) with many years of experience in the field, I assist, educate, and support people through as they move from dependency on Social Security Benefits to financial self-sufficiency through the Ticket to Work program.
Self-Sufficiency looks different for every person, but for most people it includes maintaining both long term employment and comprehensive health insurance independent of federal and state benefits. With Catalyst Employment Supports, you can determine your goals, build your confidence in presenting your experience and skills to employers, have consistent career advisement throughout the first years of your return to work, and know that you have a benefits specialist on your team while you do all this.
Catalyst Employment Supports LLC is able to offer career counseling, resume development and interview practice, long term employment supports, referrals to additional resources in your community, accommodation advocacy, and other employment supports. As a provider of CWIP services, Catalyst Employment Supports LLC also provides comprehensive support in tracking and explaining how your employment and income effects health insurance (Medicare, Medicaid, and state exchange plans), cash benefits, and other safety-net benefits.
If you are a beneficiary of SSI or SSDI between 18 and 64 and would like to learn more about working with Catalyst Employment Supports through the Ticket to Work program, please give a call or send an email.
